Millom acts as the service centre for the villages of Haverigg , Bootle ,
The Green, The Hill, Waberthwaite and a scattered rural population.


Hours of Operation:

Monday 9-12 & 1-7pm
Tuesday 9-12  & 1-5pm
Wednesday 9-12pm
Thursday 9-12 & 1-7pm
Friday 9-12 & 1-5pm
Saturday 9:30-12pm
CLOSED SUNDAY

Chatterbooks bookclub for 7-12 year olds meets once a month on a Thursday from
4-5pm. Ring for exact dates.

Reading group meets on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30

Access to Ancestry.co.uk is free on the library's computers. Included in the information are th 1841-1901 census for England and Wales, as well as the 1841-1861 census for Scotland. The hourly charge for computer use is as usual, however access to the website is now free!

Millom and District oral history group meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month in Millom Library at 1pm. webmaster@madohg.org.uk
