Sculpture Overlooking Haverigg beach is a remarkable sculpture by internationally reknowned sculptor Josefina de Vasconcellos. "Escape to Light" is dedicated to Inshore Rescue Teams throughout the United Kingdom. It is a symbolic work featuring a human form escaping from the jaws of a sea dragon. The beach has extensive sands at low tide, a children's play area, toilets and a cafe that is open seasonally.
